After 36 years of marriage, my mom & dad renewed their vows in Vegas last night. It was a surprise for my mom from my dad. My dad, sister & I had so much fun pulling it together. It was so much fun & they were so adorable!
I got a lovely note from Sara & Josh this weekend that I want to share. I LOVE that we came up with the kazoo idea to solve the problem of not being able to have any music at their ceremony. Sara & Josh got married on a beach in Maui & I was able to work as a consultant for questions and ideas leading up to their ceremony. It was a lot of fun & I am sooooo happy for the two of them. Congratulations you two!!!

One thing the many things that make Bliss Elevated unique is that they include unlimited advice via e-mail and telephone in our packages. So the minute you hire Bliss Elevated as your Wedding Coordinator, you have a non-biased friend there to provide advice based on experience.
We were especially pleased with the advice we received about music during our ceremony. We got married on the beach and were not sure what to do about music. We were thinking of no music, but didn’t want this to be odd. Julie came up with a number of great suggestions, such as just letting the waves crashing on the beach do the work and let the sounds be natural to having the guests hum “Here comes the Bride” Through our discussion with Julie we decided to give each guest a kazoo and have the guests kazoo/hum “Here comes the Bride” It worked wonderfully and was the perfect bit of whimsy added to our formal wedding. I think the guests really enjoyed being a part of the whole thing as well.
I truly cannot thank Julie and Bliss Elevated enough for all the morsels of wedding advice they shared with us. Julie really helped make our day run smoothly and helped us to realize the vision of our wedding. Anyone who hires Bliss Elevated is really lucky to have such a great advocate on their side!
